A2 11-30 Brown (7.5YR 4/4) to strong brown (7.5YR 4/6) sandy loam; weak fine
and medium subangular blocky structure; friable, slightly sticky,

slightly plastic; few fine, common medium and coarse roots;
very strongly acid (field pH 5.0); clear, smooth boundary.

Bt 30-68/70 Strong brown (7.5YR 5/6) sandy loam; weak fine and medium

subangular blocky structure; slightly hard, friable, slightly sticky,
slightly plastic; patchy thin clay coatings on ped faces; few fine and

medium roots; very strongly acid (field pH 5.0); broken, abrupt
boundary.

BC 68/70-88/100 Strong brown (7.5YR 5/6) very gravelly sandy loam; weak fine and
medium subangular blocky structure; friable, slightly sticky, slightly
plastic; gravels composed of transported quartz and granite about

40% by volume of the soil matrix; very strongly acid (field pH 5.0);

broken, abrupt boundary.

CR 88/100-135 Mixed strong brown (7.5YR 5/6), reddish yellow (7.5YR 6/8) and
brownish yellow (10YR 6/8) sandy loam; weak fine and medium

subangular blocky structure; friable, slightly sticky, slightly plastic;
granite fragments consisting of 50% by volume; slightly acid

(field pH 6.5).
