blocky structure; soft, very friable, slightly sticky and non plastic;

common medium and fine roots; moderately acid (field pH 6.0) clear,
wavy boundary.

AB 10/12-22 Mixed brown (7.5YR 5/3) and brown (7.5YR 4/3) sandy loam; few
fine distinct strong brown (7.5YR 5/6) mottles; massive; very hard,

firm, slightly sticky and slightly plastic; many very fine and fine roots;
very strongly acid (field pH 5.0) clear, smooth boundary.

Bw 22-35/40 Brown (7.5YR 5/3) sandy loam; few fine distinct strong brown (7.5YR

5/6) mottles; massive; very hard, firm, slightly sticky and slightly
plastic; many fine and medium roots; few medium iron and

manganese oxide concretions; very strongly acid (field pH 4.5) clear,
wavy boundary.

Bwd 35/40-50+ Mixed brown (7.5YR 5/4) and pinkish gray (7.5YR 7/2) coarse sandy
loam; few medium distinct strong brown (7.5YR 5/6) mottles;
massive; extremely hard, extremely firm, slightly sticky and non

plastic; common medium to coarse iron and manganese oxide

concretions; very strongly acid (field pH 5.0).
