Bt1 20-50 Strong brown (7.5YR5/6) sandy loam; moderate medium subangular
blocky structure; friable moist; nonsticky and slightly plastic; few faint

clay coats along roots channels and on ped faces; common fine roots;
very strongly acid (field pH 5.0); gradual, smooth boundary.

Bt2 50-85 Reddish yellow (7.5YR6/8) sandy loam; strong medium subangular

blocky structure; friable moist, nonsticky and slightly plastic; few faint
clay coats along roots channels and on ped faces; common medium

and coarse roots; strongly acid (field pH 5.0); gradual, smooth
