structure; friable, slightly sticky, slightly plastic; few medium roots;
few termite holes, strongly acid (field pH 5.5); clear, smooth

boundary.

Bt1 45-70 Mixed brown (7.5YR 4/4) and pale brown (10YR 6/3) sandy clay

loam; moderate medium subangular blocky structure; friable,
slightly sticky, slightly plastic; patchy thin clay coatings along ped

faces; common fine and medium roots; very strongly acid (field
pH 5.0); clear, wavy boundary.

Bt2 70-115 Light reddish brown (5YR 6/4) sandy clay; few fine distinct light
brownish gray (10YR 6/2) and red (2.5YR 5/6) mottles; moderate

medium and coarse subangular blocky structures; friable, sticky,
